1. Compare
and contrast the Loving Kindness exercise and the Subtle mind exercise. Explain
your experience including the benefits, frustrations etc.
Maybe it is because I do these
exercises at night after a long day of work but I always go into a semi sleep
state. I still know what is going on
around me but I am at rest in my mind. I
loved the sound of the waves and when I first heard the flute I thought I was
hearing things. I have done yoga before
and it is amazing how a little meditation can make you feel like you have slept
for a few hours. The only frustration is
that I wish that I would make more time to really get deep into the meditation.
2. Discuss
the connection of the spiritual wellness to mental and physical wellness.
Explain how the connection is manifested in your personal life.
Strong in mind, body and spirit is
a goal. I believe that when you are at
peace with your inner self then all things are possible or more easily
accepted. Every person has their
limitations. Most people never want to
face the fact that they have weaknesses.
If a person can accepted their weaknesses not as a dead end but more as
a challenge to overcome or adapt then it promotes growth. These 3 things are like
dominos. The body develops then the mind and finally the spirit.
